Co-founded in 2001 by Tili Findley and Mike Patton, ProfitSword’s mission is to provide exceptional business intelligence tools to the business community, specializing in data collection and integration, data analytics, operational functionality and reporting at all levels of the organization.


By combining their separate areas of expertise in leading edge software development and high level financial management, Tili and Mike designed and developed an advanced operational and reporting business intelligence software suite. The resulting software solutions, ProfitSage, ProfitPlan, ProfitPace, ProfitDaily and ProfitWizard are now in use by more than 50,000 users worldwide.

Tili Findley

Partner, Co-Owner

Tili is a graduate of Florida International University in Miami, Florida, and spent more than 25 years in the hospitality industry in operations and finance prior to co-founding ProfitSword in 2001 with partner Mike Patton. She has a long track record of success in high-level operations and finance positions and currently directs the day-to-day operations and administration of ProfitSword. As co-founder of ProfitSword, Tili oversees all high-level accounting and administration activities. Working together with ProfitSword’s President, she formulates the overall direction of the company. Tili maintains an active role in product development, having originally designed ProfitSage software with partner Mike Patton in 2001.


Mike Patton

Partner, Co-Owner

Mike is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, and has spent his career developing software in multiple environments. Mike has developed software for large-scale companies such as BellSouth, American Airlines, WorldCom, Cingular Wireless, WellPoint, and CitiFinancial. Before joining forces with Tili in 2001, he started his own successful software development company – ThoughtWave – in 1996, creating integrated back office solutions for internet service providers and call centers. With more than 25 years of experience in application development, database management, data mining, and analytics, Mike is responsible for overseeing technology enhancements and software for the company. His extensive knowledge of web-based solution development led him to build ProfitSage software with Tili Findley in 2001. He also credited with directing the development of six additional major solutions and applications for ProfitSword.


Maureen Allen


Maureen had a 30+ year career in the hospitality industry prior to joining ProfitSword in 2008. Her success in various leadership roles lends well to her responsibilities as President. She has worked in every facet of hospitality which have served her well as President at ProfitSword where she is responsible for the day-to-day operations of customer service, technical support, and software development teams. As the President of the company, Maureen directs ProfitSword’s day-to-day operations and is responsible for maintaining client relations at all levels in the organization. Her daily responsibilities include managing the Technical Team, Software Development Team, Client Services and Support, Business Development and Human Resources. Other tasks involve setting direction of the company with the ownership and leadership team.



Colin Findley

VP Business Development

Colin is a graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, and worked in the hospitality industry for more than 25 years, where he progressed through several leadership roles including hotel general manager, prior to joining ProfitSword in 2008. Currently, he is responsible for increasing revenues in vertical markets including hospitality, timeshare, senior living, cruise and various other hospitality related industries. Colin is responsible for generating leads through inside and outside sales, creating detailed contracts and scope documents in order to protect both client and company interests, and securing a smooth transition between the sales process and implementation. He is also responsible for all advertising and marketing efforts including print, digital, website, etc., and all PR activities including press releases, case studies, industry events and press interviews.



Paul Bennie

Director Business Development

After graduating from Brigham Young University, Paul started his hospitality career in Pennsylvania working in various management positions and hotels including General Manager and Regional Director of Operations before becoming a business and finance analyst in 2002. Paul joined ProfitSword in 2010 and after several leadership roles within ProfitSword is now leading the global hospitality sales efforts for the company. Paul is in charge of increasing revenues in the hospitality market, and generating leads through inside and outside sales, tradeshows, industry conferences, and client meetings. Other tasks that Paul performs include creating detailed contracts and scope documents in order to protect both client and ProfitSword interests. He is also responsible for creating a smooth transition between the sales process and implementation.



Michele Mott

Business Development Manager

With more than 15 years of sales experience primarily within the hospitality industry, Michele is responsible for managing the sales process at ProfitSword by identifying and qualifying sales opportunities to maintain a staged sales pipeline. She is also in charge of negotiating contractual terms, closing new business, finding and building new lasting relationships, and maintaining relationships with prospects and current clients to generate revenue opportunities. Another of her responsibilities includes presenting and demonstrating ProfitSword software and services to qualified prospects and clients. Michele spent the majority of her career as a Market Sales Manager for online travel agencies. Prior to joining ProfitSword in 2013, she worked as a Business Development Manager for an online advocacy platform for hotels. Her knowledge of sales and the importance of technology in the hospitality industry brings value to her role at ProfitSword.


Brian Treadwell

Director Business Operations & Logistics

Brian is responsible for supervising the Systems Team at ProfitSword, including server deployments, internal IT infrastructure, client server hosting and networking. He is also in charge of managing the Data Collection Team, which collects third party partner data. As the director of the QA Department, Brian is in charge of testing new features and fixing each upcoming application release. He is ProfitSword’s current Advisory Council administrator. Graduating with his bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan State Denver and his MBA from Missouri State University, Brian has spent his entire career in finance and data analytics. He began his career as an accountant and quickly moved into an analytical role. He worked as an analyst and systems specialist for more than 10 years prior to joining ProfitSword in 2011. He currently manages all technical/IT aspects of ProfitSword’s software solutions.



Francis Ngugi

Director Implementation

Francis has earned degrees from both Strathmore University and Penn State University while maintaining his CPA equivalent from Kenya. His career spans nearly three decades of accounting, auditing, business management and information systems management. Francis worked several years in accounting and directly with ProfitSword’s applications before joining ProfitSword in 2010. At the company, Francis is in charge of developing the implementation of project plans for each individual client, and directs the daily workflow for implementation projects. He is also responsible for creating a smooth transition between implementation and ongoing customer service. Francis began with ProfitSword as an account and customer service manager, and now leads the software implementation team.



Todd Chapuis

Director Product Development

A member of the ProfitSword team since 2010, Todd is responsible for setting technical direction and researching new technologies to ensure that the company remains an industry leader. He is also in charge of ensuring timely and effective delivery of solutions into the company’s product line, and communicating with the technology team and other departments as collaboration requires. Todd has a Computer Science degree from Clemson University and is a Microsoft Certified Professional. With over 20 years of software development experience, Todd has built his career with experiences from Philips Electronics, Arthur Andersen, Citigroup, and UPS. He has worked on multi-national systems utilizing server farms located in many parts of the world.



April Hepburn

Director Human Resources, PHR, SHRM-CP

With more than 15 years of experience in Human Resources and Organizational Development, April Hepburn is responsible for all Human Resources functions at ProfitSword. Her responsibilities in this role include compensation, recruiting, ongoing associate training, and associate appreciation. April has a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management, a Master’s Degree in Adult Education, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and holds two professional HT certifications. As an expert in the Human Resources, April has made career in multiple industries including consumer products, nonprofit organizations, healthcare, technology and hospitality.

Jenn Schram

Director Client Services

After graduating from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Jenn started her career with Marriott International and continued to broaden her experience by working with a variety of brands and management companies in many roles. In her more than 20 years of hospitality experience, Jenn’s roles were focused on hotel operations and revenue management. Jenn began her career with ProfitSword as a customer service manager in 2013. In 2015, Jenn helped to create and manage the ProfitSword training team, and she is currently responsible for customer support and satisfaction. Her daily responsibilities at the company include training all customer support associates and clients advocates, and handling all customer support issues, challenges and complaints in order to achieve complete satisfaction.
